Fresh off a quick Northeast tour, New York City’s rising talent,Shayna Leigh, has announced today her highly anticipated second EP, ‘Hey Shayna Leigh’, will release this September 9th! For her new project Shayna tapped the talents of noted songwriter Peter Zizzo (Celine Dion, Elizabeth Gillies), Grammy winning producer Michael Mangini, and Steely Dan’s Gary Katz. Shayna has released two successful singles from the project, “Next To Me” and“Drive (Back to Where You Lived)”, which have garnered her features on American Songwriter, Artist Direct, PA Music Live, World Lifestyle, AXS.com and more. According to Shayna, the upcoming EP tells the story of facing heartbreak and learning to rise above it. “There is a power that comes from putting yourself out there and standing up for who you are, scary as it is. To me, these songs are all in some way about being brave enough to consistently fight for your dreams.”
